Team s.w.a.t .was born in 1984 with a hand full of good friends and family members, being a family based team many aspects of this ethos carries right through to present day.
With its initial roots in paintball and combat sports all over the world s.w.a.t. has carried the banner for the united kingdom into Europe both paintball and a pioneering influence into airsoft.

In 2001 s.w.a.t. airsoft was born and created and ran the first three big games in Europe at our old site in halkyn, north wales, although numbers only sat at 300 players, this was the start of big games within Europe with teams travelling from Europe and America to take part.
We ran a series of three big games from 2001 to 2003 then hung up our sword to let others pave a way with the formula we created.
 

Our efforts from that point where to relocate closer to Liverpool and develop our urban site projects which we did with three consecutive venues, Saighton camp Chester, area51 in Shotton Deeside and fortress in the heart of Liverpool. The kyln being the latter addition with further plans to spider across Merseyside offering players the vast pool of experience and professionalism s.w.a.t. has offered its family of friends since the inception of airsoft with this and our roots from vast professional paintball history being one of the top teams in the united kingdom we bring to the table this experience of 3 decades of team s.w.a.t. to the airsoft speedball community.
